Which links can MediaDrop process?
Direct public HTTP(S) media URLs from sources approved in the live registry. Access alone does not prove permission to copy.
Does MediaDrop keep the source URL?
The URL is used only for short-lived processing, is excluded from analytics and local history, and temporary files expire automatically.
Can it download every social-media video?
No. Private, paywalled, DRM-protected, or unapproved platform links remain blocked. Official owner export is used when available and approved.
